🚰 Electric Transfer Pump for 15-55 Gallon Containers Review

The pump was purchased to pump water out of a 55 gallon drum. Worked for 20 days and then slowed down the output. On June 8, 2021, the water supply was cut off. The engine runs but draws no water.

I bought 5 of these pumps two for home use and 3 for work. All pumps but 4 failed within 3 months. Terapump provided a guarantee on two of them but stopped responding to my emails about the other two which had failed. Two were used for light oil and two for gasoline.

I have 2.5 acres of land. 2 ride on mowers, 2 pruning mowers, leaf blower, UTV and a few other things that run on gas. Not enough for a large 300 gallon tank so a 55 gallon keg is fine for my needs. so this device looked like the perfect thing. After less than 40 gallons it stopped working. I contacted Amazon and they referred me to the manufacturer. They never answered calls. I took it apart and found a blown fuse inside. The pump arrived box in box (typical Revain - Sep 03) and was easy to install in my 55 gallon E85 plastic drum. Used 6 times and it worked fine. Last time I tried to use it it didn't work. I connected the power supply (12VDC, 3A) and checked the voltage which showed 12VDC. Anyway, suspecting a power source, I cut off the plug from the power supply and plugged it into the charger (also 12VDC), plugged in the pump and it worked again.
