It is convenient to suck out waste from the aquarium.

There is nothing special about this siphon pump. It's convenient for me to vacuum the waste out of my tank daily to keep it clean and less smelly. It is battery powered so the user may want to invest in rechargeable batteries to save money in the long run. In my experience, after many years of daily use, this type of siphon pump can last about six months regardless of the brand. - He has a name. It's all made in China, and it's likely made by the same manufacturing company to the same design to

Problem with button switch.

Inexpensive but should work well. The power switch on the pump did not work. When I unscrewed the battery cover with the switch, the pump turned on and would not turn off until I unscrewed the cover about one turn. If I open the cap enough that the motor shuts off, I can start the pump with the push button switch as intended. I can live with this issue and actually think it could be a good thing since I can just let it run on its own by flicking the throttle and when it gets to the point whereโ€ฆ

Ideal. If it wasn't for the 33% success rate.

I bought these to irrigate my indoor grow space. It's easy to use. Place the wand in the water source, place the test tube where you want the water to flow and press the button. The problem is that 50% of the time it doesn't work. It just makes a loud howl/crunch. If you turn it off and on again, it might work a second time. That issue aside, however, the button goes down about 1/4th of the time and doesn't come back, meaning it just keeps pouring water when you don't want it to, and you haveโ€ฆ

Great but: Manual fuel pumps

If I had left a review last week on first use it would have been 5 stars. I think the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. I got this to pump clean water in 2 aquariums as the hand held bulb I had just couldn't cut it. This siphon worked GREAT for the first 6-8 uses, although it was a bit slower than the other "automatic" one I have. However, when I used it today, it started making loud noises. I have no idea why or where the noise is coming from, but I did notice a sharp drop inโ€ฆ

Good for basic use but instructions are misleading.

This pump is primarily used to drain the tank of something like a B4 snow blower or lawn mower for maintenance or seasonal storage. The pump does its job well, except for the fact that the drain hose is too short. The combination of straight and corrugated segments on the outlet hose is easier to position than a regular rigid pipe, but the hose cannot reach from the snow thrower to the gas tank on the ground. The suction tube is long enough for easy use, but not for the transfer shown in theโ€ฆ
