Don't buy shock absorbers and steering stabilizers

I can't believe all the positive reviews on here. Only lasted 6 months on stock tires and off-road. Creates a "click" in the steering from the original install. This stabilizer eventually began to lose fluid and lost compression. I noticed it when I hit a bump on the interstate with a tire and lurched fatally. The company was decent about sending a replacement part; however, it still seemed inferior. Weak contraction and fearing death wobble would return. Instead of installing a Teraflex…

It would be nice if the dead zone didn't exist.

I have installed this with other Teraflex steering components and immediately noticed a dead zone once the pin was at rest in any position (half an inch to each side and a sound like air was blowing through the diaphragm pistons ). ) which caused the wheel to rock slightly while riding, but after that first half inch it was working (dampened) as it should. The bad news is that the steering is stationary for most of the ride. Yes, if everything is perfect with the steering system, including…

STOPS Jeep Death Wobble

I have a 2012 Jeep Sahara Unlimted, 100% factory, no modifications, low mileage for the age of the car (60,000 in 8 years), mostly highway. About 3-4 years ago I started having the infamous Jeep Death Wobble and it gradually got worse. Would avoid roads I wouldn't normally ride on to avoid a pothole or bump that sent the jeep into a wobble where the front end seems to drop until you slow to 20mph. It's fine as long as you're not driving on the freeway and aren't afraid someone will hit you from

The ride is smooth because the floor really flexes with the TeraFlex!

My 4x4 jeep with mud tires on raised wheels used to flinch at the slightest bump. Potholes? Forget it! The wheel stared at your wrist like a fun thought of breaking in half, a bit like a Ford Model-T crank only 1000 times worse because you've never seen a pebble on the road crushing your wrist and then throwing that simmering coffee could break the whole bridal outfit and leave you the victim of a sick Lorena Bobbitt fantasy. Well, not today, Lorena! Now that the TeraFlex has taken the hits, I…

Really helps with steering feel on bumps.

. I've had a 2.5" lift and big 33" tires on the rig since I've clocked about 10,000 miles. I experienced a death tremor that seemed to get worse over time. So I replaced the front crossmember bolt (with larger bolts, no drilling required!), search on Revain for "Jeep Wrangler JK Track Bar Bolt Upgrade Kit". That got rid of the lethal wobble, but I still had pretty bad steering on the roads, at worst it was between 40 and 50 mph. Once I removed the old factory stabilizer bar shock absorber, I…
