Cheap junk, out of order several times

Useless cheap junk. I threw it away. When it worked it was slow, but inexplicably it stopped pumping water after about 5 minutes. The spinner worked and poured out a lot of swallowed water after it stopped working from the inlet nozzle, but the water just stopped flowing to the outlet pipe. Don't worry about those cheap cordless pumps and get a hand pump instead. You get the added benefit of a little exercise while pumping!

Works as advertised

With the new gas cartridge attachments it has become difficult to move gas in any volume. Luckily, this little device solves that problem. Unexpectedly, it has a sensor that detects when the bin is full. When this condition occurs, an acoustic signal sounds. I found I could pump 5 gallons per minute or maybe a little more. The clip at the end of the hose keeps the nozzle perfectly in place. Also, it pulled most of the fuel out of my canisters. My only complaint is that it feels a little light…

It's pretty darn handy

Here in California during wildfire season and uncertain electricity supplies, it's time to get a generator. This thing makes it a lot faster, easier, and *safer*. When filling the generator tank from a gas cylinder, no gas escapes. You are in control of the stream, don't worry about it overflowing. With a generator, the tank is too small, so you can't fill it up relying on the "buzzer" to stop filling. And on the latest cars with capless gas tanks, you can't securely snap the filler neck into…

Slim design ruins a good idea

When I got it I was impressed with how it works - no need to hold a 5 gallon can to fill a generator in a snow storm - fantastic ! It looked a little flimsy but didn't promise commercial quality and is actually a low volume pump with a plastic tube. What can go wrong? After 6 applications and a 3 foot fall onto soft ground, he died. The contacts and the design of the battery compartment are incredibly poor. There is no way to reliably fix them. Battery wells aren't rocket science and at this…

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!

I am a critical person by nature and can usually find small flaws in most things. However, I cannot find anything wrong with this device. This worked much better than I had hoped. Surprisingly powerful to run on just 2 AA batteries. No assembly is required. I opened the packaging, put in the batteries and used them to drain a large bird and bird bath. I connected the exhaust hose to a 5 gallon bucket and flipped the switch. It filled the bucket quickly and turned off automatically when it was…

This pump sucks Rough plumbing

So it's a pump and it sucks. I used a previous generation pump that worked well and was a workhorse but drained the batteries badly. My wife broke it so I bought this pump. The pump arrived quickly and well packaged. After installing the batteries, the pump did not start. During further investigations, one pin of the negative plug was completely missing, which led to its inoperability. I requested a replacement and it came two days later. This replacement pump worked and had no identifiable…
