THEY DO NOT WORK - Sport

These bags are not waterproof. I tied them to my life jacket, fell off the dock and was submerged less than a few seconds before I got out, and even in that short time water was seeping into those pockets. Skip them and keep looking!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Used for river navigation

Worked well the first time. The second time we ended up with water in the main pocket with cigarettes and lighters. Not cool! If you put things in it and leave it alone each time (without stepping into the bag while swimming) you'll probably be fine.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Not easy to open in a hurry but keeps H2O at bay

They've kept our stuff waterproof but took so long to open especially when we needed to quickly get something out of a pocket. It was so difficult to open. For example when we took a boat trip I put my phone in my pocket and in the middle of the trip I needed my phone and didn't bother to get it because it would take too long.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Waterproof

These bags are waterproof. I have used them river trips for years and many times they have fallen into the water and had to be chased downstream. They always kept the phone, lighter, cigarette, etc. dry. After 10 years I replace them because holes are visible in them. However, you must seal the packages properly. The reviewer who claimed they weren't waterproof may have improperly sealed the bags. I once missealed and lost the snack mix a friend brought.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Useful for hiking

It is very convenient for hiking. As others have said you don't want to submerge them in water (not suitable for kayaking) but they are great for hiking if the rain catches you by surprise. I use the largest bag for groceries and snacks, a medium sized bag for toiletries and first aid, and the smallest that I wear around my neck with small items I need to keep on hand including cell phone and lighter/matches. It helps keep my backpack organized and protects my essentials from the rain.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I will write later

NOT WATERPROOF AS TITLE MAKES IT

Very misleading advertising, the title says this is a waterproof bag. but then there is a warning on the packaging: The product is intended to protect against: rain, spray, spray and fog. The son didn't go into hiding. If I needed a bag to keep rain and fog out, I would go with a zippered bag. goes to the chatbot but nothing changes, I still can't return this item.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not waterproof Good for boating and sailing

I used to use waterproof bags but this one sucks. It only has velcro technology. I used the back and it didn't keep water out which is its only job. It has no zippers, the end of the bag simply rolls up and folds, then the top zips closed. I don't know who thought folding the plastic backing made it waterproof, but they need to be reassigned. I am very dissatisfied with this product and would not buy it, would recommend it and strongly recommend removing it from waterproof bag search results.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Has flaws

These bags are not waterproof and useless to me.

It would be a false statement that these bags are waterproof but in reality they are not, when I received the bags they said they were waterproof. Waterproof and waterproof is not the same as I put it in it. my fridge in the trunk of my car and all my chocolate went bad, we were going on vacation and water was seeping out of the ice cream and ruining the dark chocolate we had. If the bags worked, no water would get into the bags, I do not recommend this product, actually I want my money backโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Still satisfied
Cons
  • No performance

They helped with the great flood of 2016!

Bought for use at the beach or pool but recently during the big tide of 2016 (I live in Denham Springs, LA). They kept my phone, iPad and chargers together and DRY! I also put all my important papers in one of the smaller pockets. It was sooo helpful! They have nice, long, comfortable straps and the water hasn't gotten into my stuff! They were cheaper than other wet bags I've looked at but they worked great and I love that you can get a few of these in different sizes. I would definitelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Almost never
