Accurate, durable hydrometer for substance analysis

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this hydrometer is very accurate and durable. It is easy to read even in low light conditions, and it has a great weight and balance to it. The only downside is that it does require some prior knowledge on how to properly use it. Overall, a great investment for any substance analysis needs..

Close up of my temperature scale

A good combined temperature alcohol hydrometer. The first time I used it, a cheaper device may have broken - I dunked it in a solution that didn't have enough liquid. So the device made a "thud" sound when it hit the bottom of my glass cylinder. I do not recommend throwing the device into the solution, just gently swimming. But somehow he survived. The potential extra cost of manufacturing in the US is worth it. I use it with isopropyl alcohol. The readings, of course, differ from ethanol, but…
