Don't expect this to be able to handle all types and sizes of strands.

While this yarn winder works great, it is not designed to wind strands longer than a few feet. It won't handle large strands at all, it just isn't big enough. The only disappointment was the fact that the description doesn't state any restrictions as to the size of the coil. I ended up buying a very expensive and large yarn winder to compensate. I'll probably give this to a newbie.

Stopped working after using it

It worked great after spooling all my new yarn from the store and then picking it up again to spool another yarn I had had and it has stopped working as effectively. It feels like there is no traction and it tends to slow down. Very disappointing and currently unusable hoping that one day it will randomly start working but it looks like using this product will cause it to stop working very quickly. I won't spend more money to get another one from here, better invest in one that I know won't…
