You will need the 4 x 4 hoop to use this cap hoop. (NOT INCLUDED).

The cap hoop fits the 4x4 frame for PE 800 and PE 770.

The cap frame fits the 4x4 frame for PE 800/770 90 degrees clockwise. The size of the vertical stitch is somewhat limited. It takes a little practice. Good results are possible. BTW instructions are included. - RLL'77

Terrible do not buy

This is terrible. I wish I had tried it sooner so I could return it. It was a waste of money and cannot be used for its intended purpose, it doesn't hold the cap securely even a little bit, it doesn't move when embroidered and completely messes up the alignment of the design.

There are no instructions in the box, and clipping the hat to the stabilizer with the hoop worked just fine.

This product is not suitable for Brother PE770 machines. After attaching to the embroidery frame as shown in the illustration, the handle of the top plate will hit against the machine, preventing the carriage from moving to embroider. There are no instructions in the box, and clipping the hat to the stabilizer with the hoop worked just fine.

Suitable for PE770 and PE800, No.

Hmm. Okay, first off it fits in a 4x4 tire but in the 3:00 position and not very tight. My concern is that the handle is very, very close to the right side of the machine. Second, it will fit a 5x7 tire, but the tire will be upside down; So you need to flip all your embroidery files. It doesn't fit the 5x7 snugly, so your stabilizing material won't stay in place (unless you use a sticky heel counter). I'll work with it tomorrow and update my review.
