upset. Kayaks cannot be secured.

Disappointed so far. Had to buy a $15 adapter kit to fit my exporter. Steepn price considering it's only 8 screws. I only used it for one 80 mile freeway trip. Both times the kayak slipped sideways and fell to the ground. It only stayed on the roof because I tied the ends of the straps around the kayak. I tightened the straps as tight as they could without damaging the case, but it still loosened a few times.

Durable, can hold three or more kayaks.

I first used them on a Jeep Wrangler roof rack. I put three kayaks on it but I know I can make four if I have to. I had to take two 11ft kayaks and put the 9ft kayak in the middle for a good fit. I used longer ratchet straps to make three. I keep them for use on a kayak trailer using the same crossbars. The fold function is handy although I never leave it on unless I'm carrying kayaks because they're pretty expensive and I don't want to lose them. They are well made and I expect them to last a…

They work. It's a bit difficult.

Works. A bit of a hassle to lift the kayaks to the top. I don't think my car (Sienna) had room for 2 pairs of J-Holders so I went with these. I use Thule surfboard supports (which I used to have) to stabilize the kayaks on the side, they keep the kayaks in place even when not tethered (helps a lot with docking). You can also use other types of supports. On my car I had to use 3 out of 4 props because the prop handle sticks out too far (rear right). Buy an extra pair of straps just in case. 2…

So far they seem very safe.

I am very happy with it. After using a competitor's paver for a year (it worked really great at the time, I really liked it) and after being told about "adapters" I was able to use it to work with my new car. Misinformation about what should actually be easy, I chose Thule instead. I have a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with Subaru Aero Bars. This stacker keeps her secure and we have attached our 2 12ft kayaks to it with no problem. I took a large pool noodle to use as a cushion on the crossbars and it

easy to turn on easy to turn off. on trunks and cases

I bought this rack to carry kayaks on my Subaru Outback (don't get me started on Subaru's stupidity in redesigning the trunk) without having to do an expensive rack install on the car. I've always preferred this style of kayak storage (as opposed to the current Yakama style) as I think the straps are easier to keep in a loop. As expected, these stackers work well. They are easy to put on and take off. So when I'm driving with no boats on top I can take off and increase my fuel economy, although

only used once but it worked very well. Customs service. It should be noted that as others have pointed out, it takes a little trial and error to fake it the first time, but once you get the process up and running it can be done in 10 minutes (we practiced ). I am very happy with this product so far, but the real test will be our vacation this summer. We have to do about 1000 miles with both kayaks on our roof. I'll try to remember to update it after this trip. Our procedure for securing two…
