Thule Internal Hub Hitch Adapter Review

My wife and I have Electra bikes with 3 speed internal gear hubs. We couldn't use our chariot with these bikes until we got this adapter. I wish I had known that many years ago.

Works as expected with my Alfine hub. Two stars deducted because I have to take an extra wrench size with me to change tires. You will either need to make 15mm nuts or include the same size nut for the other side.

I was told by a local bike shop that it was not possible to tow my child's trailer on a bike with an internal hub. I was so excited when I found out this product existed! It arrived as promised and is very easy to use. Quite expensive for a nut but solves a very annoying problem and definitely better than driving around!

I'm so happy it worked! I have a public bike with a Shimano Nexus internal hub and an InStep trailer. Being a Thule product I wasn't sure if it would work with InStep but it works! It was quite difficult to find information about this problem on the internet and my bike shop didn't have this problem before. I took a chance on buying it thanks to Revain Prime shipping and I'm glad I did. I'm glad I'll be dragging my baby all summer long!
