🔌 TIANSE Filament Tolerance Plugging: Enhancing Lithophane Performance Review

This is a new PLA from Tianse. The package arrived a little crumpled but that's not a problem, the roll inside was in perfect condition in a good vacuum pack so I didn't deduct points for that. Overall this board works well, I print on Ender 3: 197/50 glass bed, prints are very good. One star deducted because I liked the old Pla better, the old one seemed even more stuffy and gave me a better quality feel. Disclaimer: I was offered a benefit for writing a good review.

Prints very well. I am using Wanhao Duplicator (Monoprice select v2). My problem is the hole in the spool. I'm no bigger than all of the Tianese filament I bought (bigger than a hatcbox reel). I put it on and it hit the frame under the thread holder so I couldn't install it. I had to print a spacer to raise the filament holder. The reel it came on is not the same as in the photo (see attached photo). The one in the photo is similar to all the others I've had. Not what I have.

Prints well. But the coil is not in the photo. The spool opening is larger and can cause interference as the spool sits deeper. I wish it was more than black and white. UPDATE: I've used a lot of this, probably ten spools, and it's worked pretty well. But the last two had thin spots that caused the extruder to slip. And of course ruined prints. Nothing is more frustrating than coming back to check that the printer is moving an inch above the print and nothing is coming out of the hot end…
