Very nice, high quality weather proof box.

This box seems very sturdy and weatherproof. I recommend running the wires through the bottom of the box and sealing them up after install if you live in a high humidity environment However I'm sure it would be just fine either way. I'm using this for an indoor application because I wanted something airtight and this fits the bill! This does look high quality and I would believe it would last over 10 years outside in direct sunlight judging by the feel and quality. I can't fault this item at…

Just right for small solar setup

Got this for one of my small solar setups (greenhouse). Just running a small water pump and a few lights, so (for now) this box is just the right size to house and protect the cutoff switch/breaker between the panels and the charge controller.The waterproof box is great because the box has to be located outside the greenhouse. This junction box has quick release clasps which is also helpful in case quick access to the cutoff switch is ever needed.I have two other junction boxes, that cost…

Water tight for my opinion

This product is good quality and someone thought it out in the design process. The clear front cover is nice to see inside out having to break the seal. Latched, the cover and back meet with a big water tight gasket. Other very nice touches are, back plane to screw interior parts to, included stand offs, and the included glands. Good product.

Sturdy, Well Made and Water Tight!

I have an outside patio that is powered with a heavy duty extension cord from the house. this cord leads to a plastic junction box where a multi-plug allows for appliances to be plugged in. Sturdy, will work fine for my application.Since it's not listed anywhere and is kind of important for anyone using this as an enclosure for custom build electronics, the hole spacing on the mounting plate is .196" center to center, holes are square .112" tapering to .092" on the far side.

Perfect size. in my review

SO this size box is perfect for a 4 slot 110v outlet. I am using it to mount 4 cameras on a post, and all require power. Worked perfectly. 2 thumbs up.

Nice enclosure for outdoor projects

So I haven't found a project to use this for just yet, but I have looked it over and it seems very well made. The only thing I would want differently is that the panel for mounting thigs was solid, rather than perforated. The box is plenty thick and well-constructed and looks like it will stand up, but until it has a project in it and it has seen the outdoors and sun for a while, it's hard to tell.I will update this review when I get a worthy project going to use it for.
