Looks good, good for spares

Didn't fit my 2005 Silverado 1500 perfectly. I had to drill some new holes in the bracket. I think my springs sagged so I trimmed the rubber blocks to give the suspension some room to ride over small bumps. I probably should have taken the bags.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Big and chunky

These things are amazing! Got a 5000 pound RV on the fifth.

These things are amazing! Have a 5,000 pound camper on a fifth wheel and it has no sag in the rear. However, they are not a replacement for worn springs. Removing your springs will make your car stiffer as it will hit them a lot harder.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No machine

Outstanding Auxiliary Suspension

These were added to our 2000 k2500 single cab. Sometimes we tow our tractor, hay or pickup onto our 6 ton trailer. Before that, we were bad at shooting from a slingshot. reinforced back. Saved it from sagging as described. I also screwed an extra distance to it. Fits about 1/2 inch of the case. With no load it still runs perfectly.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Super useful in the rear of my 2009HD 2500 Chevy.

Very handy in the back of my 2009 Chevy 2500HD during the winter months when I have a 5 foot grinder. The grinder weighs around 500 pounds empty (according to the manufacturer) and the fenders barely touch the axle. So in the warmer months when I ran out of a rear grinder I removed the fenders. Simply jack up the truck to hang the axle and simply remove the fender leaving the bracket attached to the frame.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet

Makes the world a good place

Very easy installation. Even used old equipment. You only have to lift the frame to make room to access the old bumper blocks. I did without the supplied spacer because I wanted to relieve the gap between the spring and the axle. I loaded about 400 pounds in my 1997 GMC Sierra and the spring made contact with the axle so there was no play. I took it for a test ride, it works fine (although it rides a little harder). I then hooked up my 6,000 lb camper trailer and with the cargo bars/roll bars…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Weight

Good product but not a replacement for worn out springs

Based on other timbral spring reviews I was led to believe that I could fit these timbral springs instead of replacing my worn rear leaf springs in my 1966 Chevrolet K1500 substitute. I made a mistake, but that doesn't make it bad. I easily installed the rubber springs in less than an hour and tested them for several days and found them to be very resilient. I called Timbren and they told me to remove the 1" washer that came with the springs, which I did in about 20 minutes. This eliminated 50%

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Some faults
