This is a very well designed kit containing all the special tools and steel inserts to repair up to 5 stripped oil drain plugs with the same thread pitch. Luckily (unfortunately?) I only had two broken plugs in my Bobcat tractor's oil pan. The instructions were very clear and the sharp drill, reamer and tap got the job done quickly. I was a bit hesitant to buy it because it's a bit expensive but it's definitely worth it. The tools feel very good and are razor sharp. I was afraid to take on this project, but it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. As long as you take your time and don't force anything too much, you'll be fine. It is imperative that you keep the tools straight or they will cut crookedly because they are so sharp. You also get a few extra liners in case you screw up one or need one for another car. I

The tough men at the local mechanic mistook the oil drain plug in my Lexus SC400 for the nut that holds the blade to the helicopter, so the oil drain plug was ripped off .
