I use Timken for all my bearings. My rear and front axles have their own bearings and I will not drive anything but a Timken! I beat my Jeep so obviously I have to buy more wheel bearings than others but that's the only brand I will buy!

Yes you can get a Chinese stock from Rock Auto for a lot less BUT installing these things if you are a shade tree mechanic is a PIA. I can tell you from experience that if you want to save $30, you'll learn how to change jeep axle bearings better! Buy the best and only cry once.

Good assembly. Super smooth bearings. I did some research and Tim Ken bearings are not only the best bearings on the market, they are also stronger than factory bearings. I found this important as I tirely run 35 inches with my 98 foot TJ. They fit great. No questions. They were cheaper at Revain than buying junk at my local auto parts store.

Theses installed on Dana 30 Front Jeep Wrangler '94. They appear to be stronger than the original bushings. Fits well. I received two boxes of different designs, one old stock and one new, but both units were legal. You will need to order a replacement axle lock nut and cotter pins as these are not supplied and you should not re-use the originals.

I ordered two of these as one started to fail on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. Timken usually has the highest quality bearings so I hope they last a long time. I ordered two and received a bearing assembly from Timken and one from Moog. They have the same part number and the Moog block was more expensive at the time of purchase. There were no visual differences between the two and both worked the same way.

Timken's quality went to hell. Received two parts of a completely different production. One is made in South Korea (which appears to be of higher quality) and the other is marked "Made in 22" (China). The parts had a depth difference of about 3/16" and if I'm reading them correctly, one wheel was set 3/16" further than the other. I sent both parts back to Revane. I placed another order with another auto parts supplier and received the same two different parts! Drop the Timkens all together!

Something's wrong with them guys. I've been driving them for 3 months and the assembly bearing on the passenger side of the car is leaking grease. I'm not sure if this is normal, but the OEM bearings for my 1998 TJ have done 115,000 miles and I don't see it on them. I've switched back to OEM and will be looking for a better device. I read all the reviews and there was a kind of compromise between economy and frustration. This assembly and apparently all of its competitors are a good fit. The question is whether you want to pay double for the highest quality, or pay half of the Timken and possibly have to replace again in the future. I've decided that I only want to do this once.
