If you only want to replace the wheel bearing once.

A wheel bearing is not always a wheel bearing. The wide price range should tell you that. But as an automotive technician with 25 years of experience, I have learned that if you do not want the ABS/Traction Control Lights to come on on the dashboard for some time after replacing the hub assembly with the built-in ABS sensor, USE TIMKEN! I'm talking about years of experience and the use of wheel hubs from different brands.

Excellent quality for bearings

I just installed these bearings. They were "soft" but fit well. The locking pins that hold them was an issue, they are on the base plate (nothing to do with new bearings). Make sure you apply WD-40 or something similar to the middle nuts and bolts holding the plate. The handling of the car has changed, it has become much tougher (96 thousand on Buick Park Avenue). Oh yeah, and make sure you tighten the middle nut (it should be really tight). You will need to reuse yours, a new one is not…

Easy to install.: Replacement parts

This is an auto part and it's hard to get too excited. The shop that fixed another problem with my machine said I needed new bearing assemblies and quoted me about $1,350 for the job. I looked around and found these builds for under a hundred dollars each. I checked my repair manual and it looked like a pretty easy DIY job. I didn't quite understand the $1350 price tag (and I won't be going back to this store). Revain delivered the parts at the usual time. Details appear to be of good quality…

ABS/Traction Control Issues Solved - 2004 Impala

I paid my mechanic to hook my car up to his Tech II code reader. He told me which hubs to replace on my 2004 Impala. I bought them here and paid another man to wear them. Speed sensors fail and give incorrect readings when you drive slowly, usually right after starting the car. When you spin your wheels at different speeds, your computer system thinks a wheel is spinning and activates your traction control system, which is essentially the same as your ABS. It pulses brakes to slow a wheel it…
