Description of ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhanced Titanium Thermal Heatbreak Upgrade for Creality: Improved Performance and Heat Efficiency

This Heatsink with ID2.0mm Neck is to solve the heat-creep issues. It would be better if you can apply some thermal paste to properly fit the heatbreak into the CR10 orginal heatsink. Please Make sure that there is no gap between the heatsink and the heat breaker. These heatbreaks is made from Titanium Alloy TC4 to provide excellent thermal isolation between heater and cooling block. Titanium is extremely strong material and offers almost 3x lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel, creating more defined meltzone. There is OD7mm Sidewall between the neck and threaded part, which can fix the heatbreak and nozzle more stable; Sidewall with two cutout is convenient for you to use a 6mm wrentch to screw the heatbreak out from the heater block. Used for orginal Creality 3D Printer CR10,S4 S5, CR10S, Ender 3 Series, ender-3 pro, CS3 Hotend use; If you wanna use this heatbreak to other printers, please check our drawings before ordering. This is All metal type, you can use it to print very high temperature printing.

I didn't realize there were two versions and accidentally bought an all metal hot end for my Ender-3. Rather than canceling the order, I investigated the difference between hot ends and the only thing I saw was a thermal open. Since I was considering switching to all-metal anyway, I kept the ones I ordered. During installation I noticed that there was nothing but a grub screw to thermally connect the heatsink to the heatsink (to be honest this caused my nerdy resentment) so I used someโ€ฆ

Bevel too close to neck keeps clogging at idle (PTFE version)

First of all, as long as the printer is running I don't usually have any problems. But whenever the printer is idle for more than a minute after completing a print, unless I start a new print or unload the filament, the thermal creep increases just enough to pull the filament at the bevel between the PTFE -Tube and expand the titanium. Chapter. I've had this on two printers with different PLA brands and this problem keeps popping up. While it can be made to work and I'd happily leave it aloneโ€ฆ

Thermal creep is worse than standard

I have changed my rating from 2 to 3 stars. That's why. I have a bowden printer (as well as an ender) and one of the most important things is retraction. You have to keep the draw low (2mm or less from what I've read) or the extruder will suck the hot plastic back up the tube. Not an issue with the PTFE liners as they are smooth, but an issue with the metal) so my issues were probably due to being a beginner rather than the thermal break itself. If I find this to be true , I will update. Theโ€ฆ
