I bought this to use with my foldable electric bike. This lock is secure and easy to carry as I attached it to the front of the bike. I usually just block the frame and rear wheel. Since my bike is collapsible, I can also lock the front, but I don't think it's long enough on regular bikes to do that. I prefer this type of locking, keyed, it requires the keys to be kept in a pocket or somewhere on the bike while riding.

Updated review: After speaking to support, a new lock was delivered almost immediately with minimal effort on my part. The next cable lock I received works great as expected. Deliberately tried to reproduce the previous error and the new lock would not budge. Must have just been unlucky with the first lock but I would recommend this lock. Especially for the price.
