Tokina 12Mm Autofocus Digital Cameras Review

Have been using this lens for two years now. I use it on a Canon 40D digital SLR. It's sharp, but not as sharp as the equivalent Canon lens. It's very wide and is good for very wide, dramatic shots, but its focal range isn't wide enough that I don't want to keep switching lenses. As other reviewers have noted, this lens is a bit heavy. This is typical of Tokina lenses, which are always made from a very strong, durable metal alloy. I've heard of people accidentally putting on Tokina lenses without damaging them. Try it with a Canon EF-S lens with a plastic barrel and see what happens!
