Good quality bolt extractor set.

Luckily I don't need a bolt extractor very often, but when I do it's worth its weight in gold. Every mechanic should have these, along with a can of liquid wrench for loosening the stubborn nuts and bolts. Finely finished with a practical storage box. Good product!

More Essentials

This set serves the purpose and is definitely worth considering if you intend to use it every day. I'd recommend spending the money on a trap or bolt cutters with a notched wrench, but if you need them, like I do every six months or a year, they're perfect. I mostly do collision repairs on new cars that have never been repaired so this set suits me.

Definitely recommend this brand!

I had to remove the intake manifold from my truck that had driven almost 200,00 miles. Most of the screws came out with little effort, 2 of them. I emptied the toolbox of my usual extraction tools that I tried earlier but couldn't get my hands on. There just wasn't enough screw head to grab the tools. Good quality bolt cutters in a nice case

I don't think of this as an everyday tool but it's one of those niche purchases when I'm in a tight spot and need the right tool for the job. The nature of this tool is "bolt biter". These are sockets for nuts, screws and bolts that have virtually no corners for a standard socket to catch. To use them, find the socket that fits best, hammer it in, and then use a socket wrench to turn the socket to allow the internal teeth to bite further into the stuck bolt and turn it.
