Disc Remover in Tools & Equipment

Okay lots of bad reviews on this tool we will buy the unit that was returned just in case your asshole was right we tool is very durable and Cutting through the hardened caulk I took 3 to 4 passes to cut through but after 2 passes I had to sharpen the blade to make it easier to cut, but the blades are thick and heavy and sharpen well

Did the trick! Best Windshield & Glass Repair Tools

I tried everything I could to dig up a ball of sealant from the back window of a 1988 Jeep Comanche Chief. I almost gave up. This tool (with a lot of muscle power behind it) cut through and allowed the window to be removed. This seal was THICK and hard. A blade broke halfway but luckily he had a spare to finish the job. Now for cleaning 😔

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!

Good quality. Read my review if you don't want problems.

Works great but I've seen some reviews complaining about not being sharp or breaking. Here's a tip. First make sure you remove the rubber strip from the windshield to cut silicone or rubber with a blade All you need is some water before using the tool pour water around the windshield and then start cutting the Silicones start, it also doesn't require a lot of muscle power.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • sad packaging

Great tool when replacing Jeep windshields!

I don't think I could have done the job without this tool. Luckily I bought based on someone's comment. This tool did an excellent job removing the front rubber seal on a 1994 Wrangler. I then managed to cut the polyurethane seal around the windshield. Take your time and do a few runs. The blade slowly cuts through. Not only is the tool great for cutting and getting into hard-to-reach places, but the ability to use it to extract an ancient seal was very impressive. The device withstood heavy…

  • Best in its niche

Quality Window Removal Tool

It took some practice to get the angle right but I was able to remove 3 rear windows and 1 front window with this tool. I've done this on old muscle cars with original glass and replacement glass. With both old and new adhesive, the tool effectively cut through the adhesive and allowed the glass to be removed without damaging the glass. This takes some practice, but once you get the right angle along the glass and under the glass, the force required to pull the tool out is no longer…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Same price as Chinese junk, works 100x better.

I have a project car that is 35 years old as it is a project car I can't wheel it outside to bake in the sun. So, against all odds, I removed the windshield and rear window. It was cold (mid 50's), the silicone was old and hard, and I was a beginner and had no idea what I was doing. I used a single blade razor to remove the excess silicone and then got to work with this tool. It worked PERFECTLY. I removed the windshield and 85% of the rear window before I felt I had to switch to the (included)

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

15 minutes vs 4 hours to remove rear window

This is my second windshield that I have removed. The last time I did this I used half the hacksaw blade in the holder and removed the inside of a Chevy truck's rear window to replace it with a slider. It took over 4 HOURS. This time I replaced the fixed rear window on my 2016 Tradesman RAM 1500 with this window remover from SG Tool Aid 87900. This out of window tool removed the window, no kidding, 15 MINUTES! The hardest part was removing the tool and reinserting it to bypass the four tabs the

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
