🔧 KNIPEX Tools 0821145SBA: Versatile Needle-Nose Combination Pliers for Precision Work Review

Knipex needle nose pliers and these combination needle nose pliers are functional but the finished surface is not perfect as one might expect. They don't close completely and the teeth erupt very unevenly. Not critical, but I expected more from knipex. They look like children's toy pliers and are of cheap quality.

These are good size pliers. Bigger than the electronics pliers I use and more compact than the regular needle nose pliers I use. The fit and functionality work well, but I will say that the Knipex has different levels of processing. They aren't as polished as some of their other instruments.

I bought these pliers and two other tools that I needed. Wholesale. Not that the packaging matters, but I think it speaks volumes about the quality. They appear to be unmatched or large-scale, and therefore do not receive special attention. The metal was rough and the edges were on the sharp side. They serve their purpose. so I'm keeping them, but don't let "Made in Germany" fool you into thinking it's Mercedes among the tools.

I started carrying them instead of a multi tool because I used pliers a lot. This is much better than any multi-function pliers. There's a small cutout for grabbing small round objects that works great. Also, one side is slightly rounded to fit flat objects of different thicknesses. Finally, the blades are sharp and feel solid. I have actually used all of these functions. They saved me when I needed a makeshift roadside fix for a leaking coolant hose.
