Great pliers. I highly recommend this. Ordinary pliers hold the stabilizer links perfectly, and clamp pliers work perfectly. 10 years car mechanic.

These aren't just fancy canal locks. They are very good at grasping and biting. I've used it in different situations. He pulled out a stripped exhaust nut (using heat) that my vise couldn't.

Hose clamp pliers are very easy to use compared to "regular" pliers or channel locks. This is a "buy for life" tool that I justified by saving on servicing my own car. Get a deposit and written receipt if you lend it to a friend!

The best tool for working with spring clamps. The mechanic charged $400 to replace the radiator hose on my car. Spring clamps are also used on the debris removal hose. These pliers are priceless. I don't need them every day, but when I do I save $$$$

I bought this set for clamp pliers so the other clamp pliers were a bit of a bonus considering the set wasn't much more expensive than I could find clamp pliers separately. I've heard a lot about the quality of Knipex and they definitely don't disappoint. It's amazing how much easier it is to work with quality tools.
