I first bought these in 2009 for my first child. Our dentist gave us another brand to try and my fingers were both slimy and sticky. They have a mild taste and leave no sticky marks on hands. They have a texture that allows them to remove debris from the tooth surface. I recommend these for kids who have teeth but aren't quite ready for an actual toothbrush.

Let me share a dirty secret. I have four grandchildren, but I didn't buy them toothcloths. I bought them for me.
