Great tool but a little heavy

A very good tool set in a compact form. The quality is very good, it looks solid but has the disadvantage that it is quite heavy. In terms of size, this is half the volume of a 700c rolled replacement whistle. It fits perfectly on my commuter bike. But I wouldn't put it in my road bike saddlebag. It wouldn't even fit in my saddlebag without taking something out. So I have Topeak The Mini 9 for it.

Decent all in one bike tool

Have had this tool kit for a few months now. Haven't used all possible tools/features yet, but the ones I had (hex wrenches, screwdrivers, tire levers) are fine. The only downside is the tightness of the kit. It's really hard to open. Unless you have really hard nails or some other sharp implement, it's almost impossible to take apart. I would buy it again but cannot give it 5 stars due to the complexity of its 'operation'.

  • Really don't like it everything is fine

It can be used on Bike Pack. Accessories

First of all let me say that I made this purchase because I was intrigued by the tire levers which greatly influenced my evaluation of this product. Sure, the included wrenches and bits can still be used, but the tire levers are made of such soft plastic that I'm afraid to use them for fear of breaking them. Also, the Presta valve tool on the tire arm doesn't even fit the Presta valve cap. If you want to buy this tire lever tool, I would recommend buying real tire levers. The tool is light and…

The circuit breaker blew instantly

I got this thing because I lost my old tool and it seemed to have everything I wanted including built in tire levers. I was replacing an old chain on my bike and decided to try a chain breaker. I lined up the chain and pin properly and started screwing them in slowly and then the ping breaker pin just broke off at the slightest pressure. However, all other parts in the kit look like solid metal and should be fine. I saw another review where someone had trouble with their tire levers. I wouldn't

Nice design with a small flaw

This tool is really well made and has a thoughtful design, but unfortunately there is one thing that wasn't considered problematic and that is the wide body of the tool. For example, if you need to use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the derailleur stops, they are usually located directly opposite the bike frame. I couldn't rotate the tool while it was aligned with the smallest chainring stop adjustment screw because the body of the tool is so wide that it presses against the frame. You have…

Good tool with everything you need

I had the little tools from Topeak and they were great. So when it came time to get a comprehensive tool that can do almost anything in a small package, I turned to topeak. I ride about 30 miles every morning and get a few thousand miles on this tool. It has helped me easily replace two flat tires and a broken spoke. Used tire levers pretty hard. Use a 5mm hex(?) to remove the front sprocket after the chain binds. The only thing I really want is that the chain holder doesn't fall off the tool…

Must have if you ride a bike!

This is a must see if you have a bike! I recently broke my chain while riding my bike and had no idea how to fix it. In fact, I'm glad it happened near my house because now I'm ready to fix it, especially with this handy tool. I was actually just looking for a chain tool, but I'm so glad I didn't. I don't buy a special chain tool, but this multitool. The chain tool worked great for removing my damaged chain and enlarging my new replacement chains. That's really all you need. I think these…

Fully Featured and Compact

I've transitioned from the massive Alien II to this much smaller and sleeker instrument. Before purchasing the Hexus X, I spent a lot of time researching multi-tools from every manufacturer I could find (even unknown Chinese names and European ultra-luxury manufacturers). A full line of allen wrenches, tire manipulators and chain tools was nearly impossible for Philips. As far as I know, this is the ONLY tool of all the tools my particular bike needs (except for things you can't get in a…
