High Speed Steel tool - 28mm cutting diameter. Good for most general purpose applications, featuring a combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. Reduced Shank - Expanding the size range capacity of a portable drill chuck. Common flute and overall length for minimal adjustment during tool changes. Black Oxide Finish - Black oxide treatment adds lubricity. Small pockets on the surface of the tool that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Wide Application - Design for drilling in low and medium tensile strength materials, such aluminum, iron, copper, brass and metal. Please Note: To make clean and precise holes, water is required for lubrication and cooling when drilling metals. Increased use of water lubrication will extend drill bit life.

Terrible quality, works well with drills

I bought this to drill a security peep hole in a wooden front door. I started with pilot holes of increasing radius to ensure the hole stays straight. When I used this bit to make the final hole I messed up the front door. Not sure if it's not sharp or just not balanced, but I would make an oval hole instead of a round one. Avoid if possible.
