later I don't know if all the bushing legs on the bar are concave but that may have resulted in too much weight on the raised ends. This caused my metal landing gear to warp, but after I bought and glued the rubber cover, there were no more problems.

Worked great for a while but not reliably. The metal broke after a few uses and there is no way to secure the jack in a raised position. Thankfully it broke when I wasn't using it (just going from where I kept it to where I intended to use it).

The jack has only been used 20 times and one just shot me with shrapnel as soon as the car was lowered onto it in the minimum position. I heard a strange noise and walked around the car to see if any attachments appeared. Don't give me confidence that they will protect me!

Just in case anyone is reading this, the rating for these and I would say all Torin Stands is the combined rating in tons. This is hidden in the instructions/product instructions. 2 ton stands only weigh 1 ton each which is useless. I have some old snap on stands that are rated for 2 tons and they are almost twice as heavy as this one because they weigh 2 tons. So order correctly.

I needed smaller stands for the Prius and XB. I have some nice orange 6t Suburbans and Jeeps. But tired of lifting the car a foot in the air for little/minimal use. They perfectly meet all requirements. There are no problems with them not being level and not bending. Hard paint no problem and they work on jeeps and suburbs. If I ever need more jack stands. I would definitely buy them again.

I have four pairs of these mounts which I have used to securely support a mid sized sedan, full size diesel pickup and 14,000 lb capacity 4 post lift components. They work as expected. They are just as safe and useful as any other ratchet jack. I read the one star comments and found that 90% were written by someone who is completely new to using the tools. Another 9% of safety sallies, who again are unfamiliar with using tools.

Exactly what the title says. I bought 2 pairs of 2 ton coasters as new. The photos were taken minutes after removing the coasters from the boxes. If I bought it used I wouldn't give a damn about dents, chips and scratches. But when I buy a product NEW, especially one that keeps a car from falling on my face, I want it to be brand new. If they have already been used, they were probably returned for non-cosmetic reasons. Will ask for a refund and look for different brands. Do yourself a favor and

I got a '65 Ford Mustang for Christmas and needed a set of jacks to set it up while I worked under it. I wanted something strong to make sure it wouldn't fall on me. They are 2 tons each and I bought 4 of them. I used a hydraulic jack and raised it, placing one of them under each wheel and putting them back down. Wow, he was strong! The Mustang weighs no more than 8 tons, but with a payload capacity of 2 tons, they don't just carry the entire car. I crawl under it by my Velcro and not worried…
