You will survive the truck.

A bit expensive but solid and durable. Well designed and easy to install. I made both sides in about thirty minutes. It took a little adjustment to clear the brake cable. Angle grinder, two minutes.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Easy to install and works well.

Purchased for a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty. As I said, it fits and protects our camper well. Fitting the front brackets is a bit more difficult than the rear brackets, but keep calm and be patient - it really isn't that difficult!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Read and follow instructions

Loader was well made and worked great. Bolting through the frame on the driver's side was tricky, but be patient and follow their instructions to the "T" and you should be fine. Use the wire guide and climb down from the top of the frame. Got the mount a day early from the supplier which was a nice surprise.

Pros
  • Automotive

These are solid! in Truck Body and Tailgate Accessories

As a mechanic with 44 years of experience, I can honestly say this is one of the best designed parts I have ever installed. The instructions are a bit cryptic, but after reading them and diving under the truck, it became clear what was supposed to happen. I chose to add 6 1/2" nyloc locknuts to ensure nothing "changes" after installation.

Pros
  • Cable Ties and Anchors
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Great, but a little more customization would be nice.

This mount works great and is perfect for the truck, but there is one thing that could be improved. It has two holes in the detachable part, so you can install it in several different positions. The problem is that the holes are too far apart so one position sticks out a little more than I need and the other not enough. You should add at least one more hole between the existing ones.

Pros
  • External Accessories
Cons
  • I'll be silent
