A highly recommended product!

Beautiful thing! I wear it on my 25 minute walk to and from work in sub-zero temperatures and it keeps me nice and warm. The mesh fan is great! It still gets wet, of course, but it's perfectly positioned to let my breath out. I plan to buy another one to run with.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Not as described - slow delivery. Fraud. In cold weather, the thing is not relevant. It is DEFINITELY not windproof and offers no protection from the elements. It's made from the same fabric you would find in a technical/moisture-wicking summer shirt. Very light weight. Absolutely useless. - Upon return, the seller must authorize the return. Let's see how it goes.

I like their products very much.

I bought this and added it to my other cycling gear for the winter. I have 2 regular thermal caps, another one that covers the ears and a neoprene balaclava. The neoprene coated balaclava kept me warm and was great, but I had a problem drinking water as my face wouldn't open. However, this mask allows me to move the head mask and mask independently. The face mask looks like it's all mesh, but inside it has a fleece lining at the nose and chin, leaving only your mouth exposed. I will update when

Perfect for outdoor sports

I bought this last year before attending an outdoor hockey tournament in Eagle River, Wisconsin in February. Temperatures were in the single digits into the high 20's and it was perfect. In fact, I warmed up through physical activity to the point of pulling my mask down and exposing my face in the middle of every game. It's warm, fits well and is thin enough to fit comfortably under a hockey helmet so I think it will work well for its intended purpose of skiing or snowboarding. I love it and…

He did a good job on Kilimanjaro

I climbed Kilimanjaro and I was satisfied. I explored other options before deciding on this one. Breathing was light and easy. It also covered my face and ears well and protected from the cold. I used a fleece lined buff for added warmth at high altitude in teenage temps. The only problem I had was the top riding over my head underneath a wool hat. I solved the problem by simply pulling the balaclava over the forehead under the wool hat. I was happy with it, especially for the price. I've spent

Very versatile and effective layer

Worth every penny. This ski mask is really amazing despite being so thin and light. It really protects any areas you cover with it from the wind. Yes, it's good to warm up too. Don't get me wrong, it's not a fur coat for your head, but it's a great layer that doesn't restrict your movement. I've been riding my horse here in Tennessee well into my teens and my scarf hasn't cut it off. Now I use this under my cowboy hat and it's "bee's knees". I pull it off my forehead so the hat doesn't fit too…

Warm and windproof.

I live in Florida I didn't think I would need this. I bought this ski mask for a few days when it gets cold in winter. My primary mode of transportation is a scooter and I wear a 3/4 helmet so I wanted to protect my neck from the wind. Don't you know, just a few days after the ski mask arrived, we had a freezing cold snap. Driving to work it was only 30 degrees and I was driving about 70 miles per hour on I-75. Although I could feel the wind pressing against the mask, I was never cold. The ad…

Post-Workout Laundry Required

After quitting the gym this winter, I decided to stock up on all the clothes I need for working out in the cold. Hats, gloves, thermal underwear, work. The balaclava was one of the items on the list and after much deliberation I settled on the Tough Balaclava Ski Mask. I have other durable gear that I use and the function of this particular headgear seems very open. At first I broke this balaclava during a heavy snowstorm when it was still snowing and the temperature was around 20 degrees. The…
