It works with 3/16 inch cable.

I have used this product for my cable protectors and it works fine with 3/16" cable, the price is the best and it comes with 1/4" drill.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Clarity

Great option for DIY cable railings

They go perfectly with the new cable railing system on my patio and cost a lot less than elsewhere. The only thing I can say is go for an angled type if the cable is going through a corner post. I have 2 posts where the cable exits at a 45 degree angle and the standard guard wants to pull out on one side due to cable tension.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Has quirks
