Extremely buggy device. I have two TP-Link points via PowerLine that keep 80 Mbps stable over the wire, I thought to add a wireless point to them in order to cover the apartment more evenly, but nothing happened. I poked it into different sockets - at first there is a connection, the speed is normal, then it gradually starts to work unstably, with large lags, after which the wireless network completely disappears. I do not recommend buying.

    Pros
    • Convenient setup - plugged into the socket, where TP-Link is already working through PowerLine, pressed the button, everything picked up and worked. No additional connections through the web interface or settings through the application are needed. Even the security key for the network is indicated on a sticker on the case - you can simply connect using it without setting anything up.
    Cons
    • Pretty big body. And completely inadequate work. Either the network is visible, or it disappears somewhere. The connection sometimes keeps for a long time at a good level, and then suddenly disappears in the same room under the same conditions. After turning it off and back on, the network always appears, but disappears after a random period of time.

    I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Has some pros: Allows you to expand the network where the WiFi router does not penetrate Got cons: Sometimes WiFi stops working. You have to unplug the device from the outlet and plug it back in.

The product can be used, I expected a little more.

In general, in order. The piece of iron is pleasant in appearance, well packaged. There is no talk of any cheap Chinese. Bought in addition to an existing pair of WPA4010 devices. Slept with them with no problems. In principle, everything is clear with the advantages: it works, there are 2 ezernet ports and a built-in Wi-Fi access point of type N. I’ll dwell on the shortcomings a little more: about the speed over the power grid - here the disadvantage is not this particular piece of iron, but…

    Pros
    • 1. Built-in hotspot 2. Two RJ-45 ports 3. small size
    Cons
    • 1. The speed on the power grid is extremely far from the theoretically possible 500Mbps 2. Instability of work with a relatively small number of clients

    Not satisfied with this product

I bought this product because I live in a multi-story building and work on the top level. So a regular router will still have signal issues, and a power line is pretty much the only way to get a stable signal. But unfortunately, with the existing setup, this product lost the signal several times while I was working. Just like in software development, it's important to always be online when your boss wants to reach you. And it dropped the signal so many times - it was ugly. So I just bought a…

Not bad but issued by (I have)

Bought these because my house was built in the 80's and don't have Cat5 or 6 installed (yet!). I used non-wifi plugs in my previous home and brought them with me. Well, more rooms, more connections! My internet installer told me it's ok if they don't have to go over the sides of the switch (right side to left side of the box). And I agree. Some rooms connect better and don't fall out, others do for this reason. As such, Wi-Fi is finicky when it comes to connecting. I think the manufacturer…

Just what I needed in terms of powerline network adapters

Our property doesn't have cellular coverage so we rely on WiFi and VoIP. We needed better Wi-Fi in a workshop 30 meters from home. We have at most 1 bar from home to workshop. The device received looked like new from the factory. I followed the quick install guide and the installation was easy. When installed with this device, a full suction of 5 bar is guaranteed. The bandwidth ranges from 20 Mbit/s (DSL Internet). You can rename the SSID on the remote router to match that on the main router…

Works well, stable signal in detached garage, better deals

I thought I got a good deal because it went up to $60 after I got it. Now back to $40. Even at this price I think I paid $40 too much. The new AV600 is only $10 more expensive. But it serves its purpose. I needed Wi-Fi in my detached garage for my old Firestick and also so I could watch videos there on my phone or tablet. I tried AC750 WiFi RE (no power line) and it was patchy. But it worked well enough. This RE gives a more reliable signal but is not actually faster. I also tried the AC1750…
