Good router for the money but there are some issues.

The router was installed in the basement with my cable modem. I've been using it since I received it in Feb/March 2015. In the last month it seems to be falling out. This wreaked havoc on my cable modem without realizing it, with indications that the modem was having problems and was losing cable input. After checking everything, I rebooted the router and the problem with the modem was resolved. The second problem is that the 2.4GHz frequency has been mysteriously disappearing recently. At…

Avoid regrets don't buy n750 model

I bought this router last year and at first it was great but since then it has been working fine no longer the right model after studying. Here are some of the problems: 1. This is a dual band router, but sometimes only the 2.4GHz connection works and sometimes only the 5GHz connection works, and if you look at the tp-link forums, is this a problem with the model .2. Had the router replaced under TP-Link warranty and the problem is they try to charge you for shipping if you want an early repair
