Very handy for travel , quality is good and have stood up against toddler abuse for few weeks now. I would gift it if the folks you are gifting love to play these games.

Doesn’t lay very flat so backgammon pieces slide off slightly but I figured that would be ok. The real issue is that the snaps are very low quality and broke the first time I unrolled it. Returned and won’t be replacing. Looking for a higher quality item.

Backgammon is my go to camping game and it is always difficult with a big board so this nifty set is exactly what I needed. My son recently got into checkers and I wanted to get something we could always have with us. This set rolls up nice and compact and all of the pieces are well captured inside the roll. My only criticism is that the bag that this comes with feels like that inexpensive fake velvet which doesn't seem to match the quality and materials of the rest of the set.

Was afraid even to open as the felt that held the roll together was so thin it would tear on one or two uses. Very carefully opened and was no where near as nice as one from a different company for only 2 dollars more. Like the concept but that is all.

This is a compact game set for on the road. It is small and quite compact altars uplittle space. At home I prefer to use my larger set but pn the road this works fine for the kids.

I bought this thinking it would be great for our RV. Everything is just too small for to our liking. In addition, the roll up board doesn’t lay flat well. For the cost, it wasn’t worth it for us. I returned it. Everything is ok in quality, but basic.

This game is not worth $38. Just played with it for the first time, because I was not home when it came. Now it is past the return date. It does not lay flat. pieces move all over the place because it is not magnetic. Very cheaply made. Could never use this for traveling because it is not sturdy enough. Do not buy this at all.

We got this for our family gift exchange this year since the theme was "Game On". We chose to do a selection of classic games mixed with fun modern games. This set was perfect for gifting - it's a great little travel set that they can take with them anywhere and easily rolls up so it can be stored in tighter spaces at home. This was a win!

It's smaller than I realized but it works. Getting it to lay flat was a little bit of a challenge. Recommend unrolling it when you get to your destination and laying something on it to flatten it out.It's definitely much easier than packing a full size game.

There are a lot of chess boards out there, I was looking out for something that comes out in a compact form factor that i can take around when we travel as a family. Quality is good and is off decent size. Not too big or not too small.

One thing not mentioned in the descriptions are the quality of the game pieces: rich looking, like fancy stones tho checker shaped, of course. I find the entire set well crafted and wonderfully compact with well designed storage for travel or even putting away neatly at home.
