🔧 Traxion 3-102 Topside Creeper Tool Tray: Maximize Efficiency and Organization Review

I have climbing plants for the top and they come with a small bag. I bought it and it's great for big jobs and keeps me from scattering my tools all over the engine bay and possibly forgetting a wrench somewhere.

There were no instructions and the box was slightly damaged in transit. But it was very easy to assemble. The platform is solid and comfortable. It was the only product I could find that lifts me above my engine.

After years of using the original Topside Creeper this new TSC seems like a good upgrade. I haven't had it that long but my first impression is that it was very easy and quick to assemble and folds completely. I have a cramped store and this is a nice feature.

Very disappointed. Seems to be a good addition to the Traxion Velcro but parts of it (a couple of nuts and bolts) are preventing me from installing it. The tray itself is also curved at the hinge point, which prevents the tablet from rotating 360 degrees as advertised.

Having worked as a mechanic for 40 years I wish I had had this many years ago, easy unboxing and assembly took 15 minutes from start to finish it's so convenient and the locking casters keep you safe. Also, the pocket attached to the front isn't that big that you have to rummage through tools, but big enough to hold everything you need. Overall it's a great product and great quality.

The purpose of the top slider is to allow access to the rear of the engine for work. First of all, this tool tray is a great idea for storing your tools, other than the fact that it hangs under the top of the step-in crawler and restricts access to the engine you're working on. If it were attached to the side of the vine it would be much better, but since it's hanging underneath it doesn't matter.

Received this as an add on to a Chinese creeper I bought off eBay. This box has a unique locking mechanism that is a square in a circle with 12 points. To move it, lift the box and rotate it, then lower it and it will lock into place. A great idea. if it works more than 20% of the time. If you have tools or gear, there is too much weight in the box and it won't snap into place. I had to modify mine a bit and it's still not perfect.

Okay, I bought a TraXion Topside Creeper and I have to admit I love it even though it was "Made in China" and not in Van Buren, State Arkansas as The company website would have you believe. The Creeper comes with a small tool pouch and honestly it's a lot better than that extra shelf. Compartment in and out.
