I love security and don't want electromagnetic signals

The "only" Wi-Fi I've found allows you to "turn off" the Wi-Fi signal with a switch. I love security and don't want any electromagnetic signals while I sleep. That's great.

Pros
  • Absolutely Awesome!
Cons
  • Some little things

nothing works: router

I have enough experience with wireless networks, currently reconfigured my D-Link 108 MB (1.5 hours including removing trendnet hardware and software) after I Tried for 3 weeks to get Trendnet working. I bought a PCMCIA card, a desktop PCI card and a router, all "N". All returned later. Revain's return policy is really great, although I rarely have to use it. Since I often transfer gigabytes (graphics and folders) from one computer to another, 300 Mbps sounded great. Happiness! No callback.

Pros
  • understandable even for old
Cons
  • something is wrong

Great router at a great price!

Very good product and great price. It's an old model, but it has great security features (wpa/wpa2) and lots of firewalls and security rules for you to tweak. A little shaky initial setup, but nothing you can't get past. Speeds were very good with both my existing "g" cards and the Trendnet "N" card I bought with the router. Good device for the price!

Pros
  • worth the money
Cons
  • embarrassing

Great router with great WiFi performance

This is a great router with great performance. Incredible value for money for a Draft 2.0N wireless router. I was deciding between this router and the D-Link DIR-655 and am glad I chose this one because it offers similar features at a much lower price (according to MIR). I was intrigued by the polarity of reviews on this router - lots of 5 stars as well as some 1 stars. My experience was extremely positive and I felt compelled to visit again. My conclusion - do not touch this router if you have

Excellent for this money!

works as advertised. I have great reception, there are tons of settings and features to keep you busy if you're into that sort of thing. I bought it for less than half the current price, so at the current price I'll probably go to a more reputable manufacturer.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • unreliable

The Best WiFi Router! BUT MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE FIRMWARE

I've tried dozens of different routers over the past 12-18 months (consider it an odd hobby). It has the best range and throughput I've tried, even with standard 802.11g client cards. It also has fantastic features including QoS, dynamic DNS, WDS, port forwarding/forwarding, static DHCP assignments etc etc. The only negative things I can say are: It has a silly looking "wireless router" label with backlight. top (though not as bad as Netgear's rotating LEDs); Also, the router gets hot. All in…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

GREAT product and GREAT customer service - MAC COMPATIBLE

OVERVIEW: This router works great, is Mac compatible (80211n and b/g) and has fast and helpful tech support. I bought a new MacBook Pro and couldn't connect it wirelessly to my existing NetGear router. I've spent hours on the phone with Apple and even more hours in the Apple Store without much joy. When I first bought my NetGear router I tried to get technical support from them and never wanted to repeat this useless exercise. So I ended up ordering this TRENDnet TEW-631BRP (which was cheap and

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Economy buy

I have Linux Ubuntu and was able to get it to work. I had to go to the forum to understand that the included software (windows only) is not really needed. Setup was easy once I found the router's internet address. The price was very reasonable and for the most part it worked very well. The only downside is that it regularly loses connection on my laptop and then immediately reconnects even though the signal strength is 4/5 bars. This happens about every few hours. So I wouldn't trust him to…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Poor service for networking products

Good router but not worth the frustration the tech support people give you when you need help. This has got to be one of the worst tech experiences of my life, and I've been into computers since before Bill Gates dropped out of school. Rude, inattentive, illiterate and inattentive summed up. It took 4 calls to fix my issue and we still don't know what caused it. What do I accept. I can't identify with them. Although the reviews for this product have been good, I will personally stay away from…
