Gigabit power! on network adapters

I am using these to distribute ethernet around my house (about 2000 square feet) over existing coax cable. The AT&T ONT is below and I can get the same speed above as I am getting straight from the modem. Used a T100 based device with good results but wanted to expand the range. With this update, the speed of my WiFi router has doubled.

Get this if you live in an apartment or complex

My apartment is quite big and there are so many networks causing interference that people don't even notice that all the networks and Wi-Fi slow down goes down. I couldn't watch anything in 4K before plugging in this MoCa adapter. That. Important…

It worked great in the end

has been installing ethernet over powerline for my son's room for a long time, but the wiring in this house is old and the speed is unusable, the speedtest showed 25MB/s, no faster than our wifi. Connected this to the ethernet switch in my bedroom and couldn't connect. I then checked each other device on the switch one at a time, his Xbox was fine, his desktop was fine, but the Firestick's NIC was not working. When I connected everything to the Switch, I had no connection, but when I unplugged…

Worked great for making a cable connection without running new cables

I had a very large house with only 4 pre-wired coax plugs from the main outdoor junction box and a difficult environment to run new cables between . rooms/floors. These Trendnet ethernet-over-coax boxes worked great to bring a wireless ethernet hotspot up to the 2nd floor without running new cables. Set up coax to connect the coax in the basement (where the internet and main router go) to the coax in the 2nd floor room. I connected the Trendnet adapters in the right configuration and in a…

Just what we needed for our house with coax cable

Our house was "connected to the internet in all rooms" - this meant that the coax cable was in every room but not connected to anything. Our router/modem was installed in the living room since AT&T was installed. There was need in the basement. nothing was connected to the coax and the wireless signal throughout the house was terrible. Each of the coax ports in the rooms led to the basement, but didn't connect to anything. These adapters worked great. One in the upstairs office to connect…

Ethernet over U-Verse HPNA

I received this product yesterday and installed it immediately. I connected the HPNA cable from the U-verse Home Gateway to the TRENDnet device's HPNA input. I then connected the Apple TV to one of the ethernet ports and the MacBook to the other ethernet port and both worked fine. Connected TV output to U-verse STB and nothing happened. No green light on STB. No signal. I tried using a splitter similar to the HOLLAND Electronics GHPNA-3 splitter sold at Revain for $4.85. The bandwidth of this…

Will work with AT&T Gateway but only has 100Mbps ports

I can confirm that many of these devices will work out of the box with an AT&T Internet Gateway (Pace Model 5268ac), but what not The specs make it clear that any of the RJ- 45 Ethernet ports is only 10/100 (not gigabit) so while theoretical throughput is 256 Mbps, any connected device can never reach speeds over 100 Mbps; hence only 4 stars. I have tested and am able to get the full 100Mbps from a laptop connected to 2 of these devices at a time. Both are connected to a gateway and I assume…

Great product, stable and reliable.

Great wired solution from my AT&T U-Verse router (we use satellite TV) on the ground floor to my home office on the second floor and I only had to buy an adapter for this as the U-Verse router serves at the same time as an HPNA endpoint. I've been using it for 6 months with no failures and no reconfiguration, I'm quite happy with the solution. I wish I could get MoCA speeds, but satellite TV is the cheapest TV solution for me and I don't bother with "gigaspeed" internet as I don't need it and I
