Does exactly what it promises; don't mind the haters, mine works great!

After using this device for 1 hour I am very satisfied with the product. second monitor. Between a gaming PC and a MacBook Pro for work, I was able to switch between the two hosts with relative ease. This device works as intended (I haven't tested the sound function but everything else works great)! Cons: First, I'm glad I read the details about it, there's nothing in the box other than the power cord. ; make sure you have extra DP cables and USB A => B cables. Due to the weight of the…

constant jitter, poor USB support, jitter gets worse over time

Bad: Expect jitter above 60Hz. Frequency seems to be OS and hardware dependent; my Windows10 machine with a GTX1070 saw them about every 90 minutes. My Linux workstation with AMD APU started seeing them every half hour or so, and then several times a minute once the device return window closed. The USB slot of the mouse does not work at all. EDID emulation is not worth it

This is a basic DisplayPort KVM. Shifts fast and works. Of course, sometimes the windows are rearranged. But it has to do with which monitor the operating system sees first. If it is recreated, reconfigure it. Windows/Mac OS will then remember your preferences for each "combination" so it won't be a problem in the long run. "The problem" is an exaggeration. The only real problem is that you might have to log in again if you switch. Which is preferable to the nightmare that EDID KVM will unleash

Almost perfect for dual monitor support for 2 computers

I bought this KVM to connect my work laptop to a more comfortable dual monitor desktop with ergonomic keyboard, mouse, speakers, microphone etc. And so I could just leave the laptop closed in the corner and switch to it like it was just another desktop.
