This is an exceptionally well made extension cord that I use to plug my toaster/fryer into my garage outlet. Importantly, it can behave neatly but is also flexible enough to be rolled up neatly on the shelf below when not in use. Too many heavy-duty extension cords are stiff and unruly; this one moves well. Highly recommend as it is also durable quality and should last a long time!

Tripp Lite products have never let me down. I have several of their high quality metal surge protectors and this extender is just as durable. I use it on a Black & Decker convection oven toaster which only has a 2 foot cord. Needed a short, sturdy extension that looked good as it can be mounted on a table top. I had one reason, and one reason only, for purchasing this unit and that was to increase the range of the portable heater. It seems that heaters always come with a warning to never be plugged into an extension cord, but directly into the wall. The problem is that heaters always have short cords. I ordered this cable because it meets European Manufacturing Standards (ROHS) which are lower or excluding jacketed Management. You will notice that there is no California warning in the product description. Then you would be correct in assuming that since there is no CA warning there is no wire in the cable. I bought this primarily for use with my 1800w Waring fryer which we use in the garage not the kitchen. With outlets so far apart that the tiny cord that comes with the fryer obviously doesn't help. However, since this is a 1800 W (15 A) device, only a very durable extension cord can be used without risk of overheating.
