Does its job of holding the number plate but the screws have rusted after 2 months. I would have expected better for the price. Edit-4-22-16-Clean Recycle Bin. The screws continued to rust to the point that I had to cut/drill them to replace them with stainless ones. Also messed up my license plate.

I bought a 2014 BMW 535i with no license plate. without attachment. only with small square holes. Went to BMW parts department across from me. They charged $45 for the mount. mmm NO THANK YOU!. Ordered for 1/2 the price and my license plate is installed. I took the $23 I saved and made my wife feel good by giving her gifts on the way there and back. I am the best husband!

Frame plate bolts are the correct length, not too long and not too short. The bracket's screws (the two that go into the machine) seemed a bit long, but they didn't cause me any problems (these screws are covered by a plate, so I was able to reuse my existing regular Phillips screws in place of the security screws). All 6 screws (4 screws on the frame and 2 screws on the bracket) are secured with the special key supplied.

Perfect replacement for BMW License Plate Bracket. I had to replace several license plates on my BMW E46. The screws are rusty and difficult to remove. The answer is an inexpensive new mount. I couldn't get the screws off the old bracket so I bent the license slot to get at the screws holding the bracket in place. Removed the old mount and installed the new mount.
