No mid gear noise

Exact replacement for TruVative cranks. I'm not sure, my original part was steel. It's available in aluminum and is about 4 ounces lighter.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Lightweight and works

I bought this to replace one on a 2000 Trek Y26 bike with a Bontrager crankset. It's the perfect fit and even lighter. As long as I don't go to another log like I do, it should be fine.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor issues

Fantastic chainring for TruVative

I chose this chainring for my 8 speed e-bike. The translation was increased by about thirty percent. Now I'm happy and even though it's listed as a 9 speed chainring it works great!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Works great but wears out quickly

I use it on a 2x10 36/22 and my third in 2 years. I'm not really attached to Grandma, but I do push her a lot on technical sections in Colorado. Next time I can get steel. Shifting is great until they wear out and then slip under pressure. Good thing they're only $15.

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Transmission components from a strong brand

I came across this brand a little over two years ago when I bought a bike and I really liked it. When I buy a new bike I ride it 14,000 miles and keep track of what breaks or wears out and yes I know it's not safe but it gives me an idea of what I can expect from components over the life of the bike Bike and well can't expect a broken tooth, still shifts very well but with so much mileage I have to change the part but not because of a break. Fast delivery and got the right part.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Bad Shimano replacement. Also, it doesn't fit FC-M760 cranks.

Caution. If you buy a 44 tooth sprocket for the Shimano FC-M760 crankset, it will not fit. The problem is that the "chest" (for lack of a better word) on the outside of the ring that mates with the crank is too long. This makes little contact with the crank and will push the front sprocket inward a bit when you tighten the sprocket bolts (like I did!). standing, you can clearly see (and hear) what is wrong. Another thing to mention is that I really wish I hadn't saved up and gotten an originalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Difficult to say
