The size is terribly wrong!

We are so disappointed in the costume! We used to have a small size which was perfect for our daughter. Well, like her, she grew up. We really liked the predecessor, so I decided to order a new, larger one. Well the length was ok but it's literally the same width as a small one. We can't return it as we removed the tags so it's a waste of good money.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Works perfectly! Suits Wetsuits

Great quality and definitely helps my 2 year old to get warm enough in the pool. In fact, this was the first time she'd happily stay in the water for more than 15 minutes. Size 3t should have fit her but they are ridiculously big for her feet. hull fits. It has still worked well and we probably have at least 1-2 years of growing space. Very attractive, she was thrilled to wear it and loves to tie it up herself.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • New competitors

Perfect fit for my daughter

My daughter has worn it to swimming lessons and recreational swimming all summer. She loves it. We purposely bought it a size up for her so we could (hopefully) use it for two years. (She's 8 years old and growing!) It fits well and we think she'll still be able to wear it next year. There are no issues with fading or other imperfections or wear. Pretty pricey for a kids swimsuit but you definitely get what you pay for. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Perfect for swimming lessons!

My daughter was almost 5 years old when I bought this. She still mostly wore 4t but switched to 5. I bought 4t first but it was too short in the crotch. The 5t fits great and the arms and legs are a little big but ok. She is an ordinary child, neither small nor large. We love this costume! The only downside is that even in plus sizes they tend to ride up in the crotch. But she says it doesn't hurt. She just pulls it up every now and then. She also says it keeps her warm in the water.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Negative impression

Nice suit but too loose

The quality of the suit is excellent. The only problem is that it's too loose. My daughter is 7 1/2 and I bought her a 7. I tried it in water and she complained that her groin hurts. It was definitely too loose and then too late to return because she was already wearing in the water. I made her try my other daughters 6 times and she fits better. I was hoping it would keep her warm during swim lessons but it didn't really help much. She still swims with purple lips. She still likes wearing itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Too wide for Olive Oyls

My 6 year old daughter is very skinny at 45" and about 34 pounds and needed a wetsuit to stay warm for swim lessons. I tried 2 sizes of this wetsuit for her. I originally ordered 7/8 based on people saying this wetsuit was 2 or 3 sizes too small because they knew it was thin but also that the length couldn't be too short or the crotch would hurt. Well, the 7/8 was ridiculously tall - 3 inches longer in the crotch and an inch wider in the legs and arms, and you could fit 2 of their bodies intoโ€ฆ

easy on and off

Measurements are accurate, I ordered a slightly larger fit. Flexibility and Movement: The material should be 1mm thick neoprene, not too thick to allow the child to move freely. Spandex sleeves are tighter, so a looser fit under the arm and less water flow. The collar fits well, I'm not sure if it floats away from the body in the water, maybe. I think the suit will work for longer periods outside the pool, but the loose fit still makes it unsuitable for long cold spells. sea or sea waterโ€ฆ
