Fits well, works well. Does its job without interfering with ports, covers or attachment points. Just received so not sure how strong or durable it is. I wish it had buoyancy like the Reach Explorer does.

Case fits great, looks quality but is relatively thinner than expected. That's both good and bad. This is good because the case is not bulky at all. However, I doubt how much additional protection a case really offers.

The protective case has a cutout on the right side. I'm guessing it's for Inreach. I don't have a 66I. Also, the case is too loose to be of any value. GPS seems to float inside the case. Cus needs to be a little tighter. The on/off switch is more difficult to use.

Last year I rode the PCT 1300 miles and my naked $600 Garmin 66i failed and this year I will be back to do it again, so I would meet my poor Garmin mistreated. It fits the device tightly, easy to install and remove. It is made of soft, elastic stretch rubber and offers good support.

I haven't had a case in 64 years and over time the thin rubber coating has worn off. Ugly and slippery. (In addition, the loss of the coating also exposed a tiny hole inside the device where a corner of the case was chipped off during manufacture. The device would not survive if dropped in water.) Hopefully this case will prevent what happens on the 66i. My grip on the device has also improved with the case.

My ex husband and I bought for our son. He loves camping and snowshoeing in the winter and asked for one for his birthday. It was expensive, but I didn't understand how I could value my son's life. He used it the other day when he was at work and where he was there wasn't good cell service. And it was incredibly accurate. I hope it will be just as accurate should it ever be needed in an emergency. Many Thanks.

I only wear this case for a few hours but it is very good. It's perfect for the 66i and drops the screen even further (in case you fall face down). The case also has the necessary cutouts for a lanyard hole on the bottom (this is not visible in the product photos!). The only minor complaint I have is that the manufacturer should use slightly less dustproof material. The current material isn't bad, but it does pick up a lot of lint from a damp paper towel.
