Great little bulbs, I immediately replaced the batteries in the kit with branded ones so can't comment on that, but the bulbs themselves are bright red and easy to see. Better than having real traffic lights in the car. My wife and I also use them when backing up our Airstream at night, they help see and hear them both ways. Now I have two sets in each car.

Excellent product and price! I use it for early morning and late evening dog walks (I turn on the white light and the reflectors glow with it, making it more visible than a flashlight). We use the red flashing setting for the kids when they are at the bus stop before sunrise. Reminds passing cars to slow down and bus driver says he sees kids! I'm sure they would also be great for a roadside emergency.

Seen elsewhere at Revain 2 bells and $29 case - so much better value. Ditch the batteries that came with it and put in a fresh set of alkaline batteries—you won't regret it. As other reviewers have noted, the flashlight is particularly lame at the end, so don't expect too much from it and you won't be disappointed. You'll probably be surprised by the brightness of the LED flashes, which is a good thing. Definitely worth the money and I will be buying a few more sets for each car in the yard.

Great product, the bases work well and the backlight works 3 different ways. The flash is all red and the third is a white light flashlight. Better visibility than Puck/Puck LED road signals. has been glowing puck style for 2-3 years.
