My truck isn't working so maybe I start it a few times a month. I changed it about 6 months ago and it's been almost a year now and now the starter doesn't work, nothing clicks?

Well it's not the starters fault, it's tough for Toyota. You can't even see the bolt at the top to change it, but other than that, and the wires and connector are opposite where you're working, the starter works great.

delivery was quick, starter fits easily and works great. I recommend this product! I also got a tip for the tools. I needed a 12mm wrench and it was worth buying a 14mm swivel nut and a 20" 3/8" extension. With the right tools, the whole job took less than an hour.

Good start. Seems pretty reliable. My only problem is removing the old starter and installing the new one. The space around the start is very narrow and the bolts are unfavorably placed. This is a truck design issue, not this product issue, but it's still an issue that needs to be addressed. With some help from a friend I got it and am very happy.

This device was manufactured in Tiawan. People keep asking if it fits their Toyota but don't give enough description of their car. You must enter the year, model, engine type, and transmission type, and in some cases more.

I have a 2006 Tacoma and started having problems with the starter motor about a year ago. It always rolled over, but sometimes took over 100 firing attempts (I couldn't always find a hill to park!). The problem was worst when it was very hot or very cold, mild weather was great for contacts but if they expanded or contracted too much they wouldn't go.
