Ideal for wireless applications.

Using standard antennas with two UAP AC mesh models in an uplink/downlink configuration, the wireless link achieved approximately 30-40% signal strength with packet loss and a high repetition rate. I added one of these antennas to the remote access point and now the signal is stable at 99% (-45dBm) and the repetition rate has dropped to zero (although some packets are still lost). The channel bandwidth is 400 Mbps up and down.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Directional antenna for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands

There are several WiFi antennas on the market. This antenna has a beam width of 45 degrees for 5 GHz and 90 degrees for 2.4. It's small, about 4" X 8" with a well-designed spherical wall or pole mount. Silicone boots are mounted on two 12" pigtails with RP-SMA connectors for connecting an antenna and an access point. Built-in spirit level when paired with another polarized antenna. It found that an antenna connected to the Ubiquity UAP-AC-M, pointing at the dock 350ft, delivered 80% of the…

Great antenna! on networking products

I have an outdoor campground about 400 feet from my home. I've connected this to a Ubiquiti hotspot and I can get a full camping signal through the trees and bushes. My upload and download speeds are only slightly slower than at home. This allows us to stream movies to a projector while camping in the backyard or just hanging around the campfire.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No form required

Excellent coverage: computers and accessories

These are excellent directions and offer a HUGE signal improvement compared to using omnidirectional antennas. Now let's just place them on the edges of the object, not in the middle.

Pros
  • Even old-timers can understand
Cons
  • Doubt
