GOOD The headlamp shines in WHITE light much brighter than any other headlamp I have ever owned or seen in my military life. It easily outshines all other 50 and even some 100+ headlamps I've seen. I took this tricky little flashlight on a trail in the Adirondacks with a group of experienced hikers who had much more expensive headlamps. We descended from Algonquin Peak in the late afternoon (not my fault, by the way!) in pouring rain and pitch blackness, slipping and sliding over the muddy rocks of a creek masquerading as a trail.
