Very good gel for my bike

The film was large enough to cover the front and back seats of my touring bike. I can buy another sheet to make a seat cover for my car. Fatigue is really reduced when sitting on this gel. I didn't expect such a big improvement. I have back pain and this has really helped.

  • Hands free operation

Nice Motorcycle Seat Upgrade

I had more trouble cutting out old seat foam than installing this gel. I will say that I used a styrofoam sheet that was packed on top after installation. This stuff is pretty sticky so I don't see it moving much after installation. We'll see how he holds up.

Just Right - Motorcycle & Powersports

I got this cushion 18 months ago for my fat, easy recline tricycle seat. It worked great and to my great surprise held up very well. I ride most days here in the Pacific Northwest no matter the weather. This carpet is regularly exposed to water, salt, sand and road debris. It has not changed any of its original properties. I recommend it often and would buy it again.

The perfect solution for a wheelchair!

The best product I have found for my son's wheelchair! My son is very prone to bruises. Not only is he in a wheelchair all day, but both hips are dislocated. He has a special seat and it's hard to find anything that fits his seat. This pillow is wonderful! It fits snugly in the seat and fits its seat perfectly! Nothing will completely prevent his bedsores, but this pad will bring him great relief! It's also half the price of the gel pads you find on wheelchair sites! I will buy another one for…

An interesting product.

Bought for my bikes. A large product is more than enough to make two seats. I wanted to do a gel seat for my road bike for a few years but couldn't justify $300 for one. On my dirt bike I had to shorten the seat to make room for my legs. It basically made me want to sit on plastic so I thought I'd give this gel a try. It reduces vibration but is a tougher compound than foam. Installation was easy but make sure you apply foam to the entire seat. I applied concealer foam about two inches above…

Enough for a double layer :)

The gel is very comfortable! , Easy to use. Read the directions and use baby powder to make it less sticky. I tried to install it in a non-destructive way, marking each piece I cut so I could put them back together. I did one shift and then went to the second shift. I've tried taping the seams but that makes things more difficult. I made the gel a little higher than the foam so everything is level when I plant. I don't feel any transition when I do it like this. I recommend a double coat if you

Helps with sedentary pain, significantly heavier than foam cushions.

I have chronic pain in my buttocks and legs that makes sitting on hard chairs, soft sofas, etc. painful. I tried many expensive commercial pillows including memory foam and gel mesh before experimenting with different foam wedges at my local upholstery store. Wedges are better than full thickness pads as they reduce pressure on the backs of the legs. Using two polyurethane foam wedges helped, but I needed more. (One wedge is 4" 1.8/24/ILD and the other 3" 1.8/36). Alone or over two wedges, the…

Mixed feelings about accessories

Ok I like this gel pad. I didn't buy it for a motorcycle seat but for an office chair. I have bedsores and I thought this would help. It softens my stool a bit and I like it, but it compresses it and doesn't help my pressure points. I liked it though, so I decided to tape it to the vinyl seat, put a cloth cover over it and use it. It stuck to the chair very well. I liked that it didn't move at all when I put it on. Unfortunately, a few days later, when changing the fabric cover, I tried to peel
