Ultimate Performance: Under Armour Women's HeatGear Middy Shorts Review

I tried them on after my favorite Old Navy shorts were discontinued and couldn't be happier. I'm an avid runner and I have a hard time finding shorts that don't ride up. It was perfect! I'm 5'1", 150 pounds or more at the butt. I bought these in a medium size, they didn't bulk up and offered enough coverage. They feel very light and dry fairly quickly after a run in Florida .Heat and humidity.I will definitely be buying more of these.

The ones I have are much shorter than the top pair and go up. The look defeats the purpose when you wear them to keep your shorts from riding up too much while you run! Our school is an armored school, so I was very happy to find midi shorts here. They are very difficult to find as a longer inseam is not the first choice for most. As for me, I don't like the tiny, underwear-sized shorts that our girls have to wear to play volleyball. These are definitely not compression shorts, very little support. The material looks very cheap and contains no "wiggle" and does not support the buttocks. I bought these primarily for running - I'm fit and very muscular from weightlifting and have a big butt. Fantastic shorts! 5 inches really is the perfect length. I'm 5ft 3in, 120lbs and the small (my normal size when compressed) fits perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose!
