It's cheap and will do what's needed. Unlike a LOT of cranksets available today this is one solid piece so the ring is not going to come lose and break like a lot of those other chranksets / chainsets do. One complaint which is so far why I took off 2 stars was the lack of a crank bolt. The description does not say it's included, but also does not say it's not. My previous crankset was 42T. With 14-28 (7 speed cassette) in the back, the lowest two gears were comfortable to go round town while towing my daughter in a trailer. I put this on my beach cruiser to go up the hills in San Francisco. This crank is well made and was easy to install. I am about 225 lbs. and beat my bikes to death. I have had the crank for about a month and it is exceptional.

This crank enabled me to easily change my gearing to make hill climbing much easier and more pleasant. It did however lower the top speed to about 16mph. But for a mountain or city bike, that is an appropriate top speed. You will need a crank removal tool to change the crank.

Perfect gear for going 1x with a stock cassette, I had my doubts, but once I got it on the trail I was blown away! Solid set of cranks. Package arrived with no damage and the installation was pretty easy. I have since but 30+ miles on my 7-speed bike and haven’t had any issues what-so-ever.

Pretty good crankset if you need to ride a lower gear on your beach cruiser. Not the lightest crankset on the planet, but no one builds high end race parts for beach cruisers. I paired this with a smooth Shimano bottom bracket. Works great.
