Error code after installation

Sensors at the front driver and front passenger swapped. The front worked as it should. The rear one gave an error that the sensor had an open circuit. Found that one of the connector pins is missing. Throw it away and plug a jumper wire into the socket adapter in the wiring harness to close the circuit and remove the light on the dash. The fronts wear out before the rears, so trying to replace the rears with Revain wasn't worth it.

Needs modification to work with a 2001 BMW 325i

The connector has two "fences" or tabs on the inside to ensure correct alignment. Perhaps this sensor is designed for a large number of cars of different models. For our 2001 BMW 325i, the tabs were too long, preventing the connector from fully fitting into the connector on the side of the car. I had to remove about 4mm of length from each of the tabs to allow the sensor connector to seat properly, make contact and engage the clip.

Good quality, easy installation

Unlike many people who despise "idiot headlights", I appreciate BMW's proactive approach to overseeing important aspects of their car's maintenance. In this case, I knew I needed new brake pads before the sensor detected it. In typical human laziness, I waited until the last minute to get the job done, and the sensor eventually caught up with what I knew. Next time I'll change the gasket before the sensor tells me so I don't have to replace the sensor. It's not difficult to replace, but it's…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Uncertain

I ordered sensors (front and rear) because one of my devices accidentally fell out. I tried to connect them to isolate them, which didn't work. After removing the wheel and accessing the connector, I found that the ends of these sensors were the opposite of what I needed (other people seem to be having the same problem). None of the sensors (front is different than rear) fit my 2000 car plug, despite the website saying so. Of course they can't be returned, so $15 down the drain. Be careful with

Inexpensive replacement

Bought this primarily as an inexpensive replacement for the rear brake pad sensor. The dealership and other automotive locations charge about $20. As for its functioning - I can't say much. These things wear out faster than the pads themselves, so their dashboard readings aren't always reliable. There is no substitute for a visual brake check every time your vehicle is serviced. When the sensor is replaced, the brake pad warning will most likely appear on the dashboard. To reset it, simply turn

Easy replacement, fits my 2002 e46 325i Touring snugly

When my e46 325i Touring's brake pad wear light came on on the dash I started looking for replacement parts to do the job myself. This is URO Parts 34 35 1 164 372 The rear brake pad sensor was quite cheap and I had no hesitation in choosing URO as I had previously used their parts to service my Volvo. I'm happy with the quality of this part and I don't regret my choice (Midge Ure version if you will). The cable length was correct and installation was easy, just following the cable routing from
